Welcome to my Blog, KLB Designs. I am currently providing information via Blog format. If things go the way I plan eventually I will work my way up to a larger website that will provide me and my customers with more options than a blog can. I am creating watchbands, decor, accessories, and other items that my customers will enjoy.I love being creative and using my hands to create something unique and fun. I hope to share this passion with you! Initially my blog will be full of pictures of my latest creations and the workings of my next crazy idea. Please check back often so you don't miss something. Thank you for visiting! PS -- Please be patient as this blog is currently under construction and may go through several changes within the next little bit until everything is finalized! Thank you!

Safety Pin Watches

Here are some watches that I found and decided to try to make them because it was love at first sight. I love the idea of making something so cute and functional out of safety pins! There is a funny story to go along with these watches. One day my brother-in-law (he will remain nameless :)) was at my apartment and he had recently returned from a trip to Las Vegas. He was so excited to explain all the jewelry ideas he had seen. At the end of the discussion he added..."I did see some watches you should never make because they were "uglier then sin""...yes he did use these exact words...I asked, "What?" and he kindly replied, "Watches where the band is made entirely out of safety pins!!!" I found this hilarious because I had already seen the idea and planned on making some. (I hope he does not stumble across this post because I think he is tired of me telling this story.) So in the end, I did make them and I have received many postive comments...all from girls of course. Just another reason boys are crazy!
Sorry the pictures are not the best, but I just had to post them.
